▲力を込めて握りやすい太めの柄、大きく開く湾曲した刃先で枝葉を確実に切り落とします。

炭素含有率の高い鋼は切れ味が鋭い一方で、もろさがありますが、それを改善したものが白紙2号複合材（超高純度炭素鋼）です。
※鋼はステンレスに比べ錆びやすい特徴があります。ご使用後は水分や樹液をしっかり拭き取り、ミシン油や機械油などを塗布した上で保管することで一層長くご愛用いただけます。

White Steel (Shirogami)

This carbon steel, supplied by the HITACHI company based in Yasugi, Japan, is made from high-quality iron sand using smelting methods similar to those used to make traditional sword steel.
It has the highest purity of all the commercial steels used for forging tools and is commonly forge-welded to a wrought iron base to make high-quality tool blades and knives.
Once hardened, the steel has an extremely fine-grained, martensitic structure that displays excellent sharpening properties.

The company is well known as a manufacture of its “Yasuki Hagane” YSS (Yasuki Speciality Steel) for cutlery industries.
Yasuki Hagane steel has been produced in their plant in Shimane prefecture in Japan where the high quality iron sand has been produced for making traditional Japanese swords since ancient times.
These are three main premium grade high carbon steels (Shirogami, Aogami and Aogami Super) that have been used for making Japanese made field & kitchen knives.
